Nah, no worries! I get how it could be read like that, now that I've reread it a couple times. But anyways! What do you think of the flowers I suggested, any you think don't fit? B)
They all seem good to me. Now you've got me thinking, it'd be real cute if quadrantmates got each other specific flowers with these meanings. That reminds me, have I spoken about quadrantmate jewelry yet?
You haven't talked about quadrantmate jewelry yet! But I am intrigued by it (jewelry is just so cool, not going to lie), please do tell! B0 (Also, hehe true. Imaginin' quadrantmates getting each other specific flowers to declare their love. Or, a secret admirer giving someone a pink hibiscus, the mystery and "WHICH QUADRANT DO YOU THINK THEY MEAN!?!" there LOL!)

Oh, damn, the olive you use looks weird on the red. But also, it's actually pretty simple. I think they'd have jewelry similar to their quadrants.
So basically
Flushed: long necklaces with charms (near the heart) Pale: rings, bracelets, things like that (near/on the hands (classic shoosh papping.)) Pitch: chokers (near the neck/throat, "at each other's throats") Ashen: magnetic friendship jewelry but romantic (since the magnetic jewelry pulls the other thirds of the jewelry together)

P.S., I "dude", "bro", "guy", and "man" just about everyone. If you're uncomfortable with that, let me know.

Gah, I love jewelry symbolism B) Especially love the Pitch and Ashen jewelry you said, it makes a wholllleee ton of sense and is just, so interesting to imagine BD (Also it's not too eye straining, is it? I switched over to the default one and it isn't bad to me, but I wanna make sure its okay B<)

I don't mean to make you change it around a lot, but it's extremely difficult to read. Do you like using hemospectrum colors for your text? Any specific ones you prefer? I can check and see what looks readable to me if that's alright with you.

I don't mind changin' it, a bit frustratin' of course, but I know eye strain is highly unpleasant, and I want my posts to be as readable as possible soo B) I prefer blue and yellow colors, but if you can't find any in those that seem to work, then feel free to go off script so to speak BP Thanks for going through the effort and tellin' me!

Oh, of course, and I do apologize for making you change it around so much. Cerulean and indigoblood wise appear to look fine on both, if you don't mind. It's less that it's unpleasant, moreso that it's just unreadable. Maybe it's just my eyes, though.

Again, all good! I don't mind changin' it to make it more readable BP How's this now? (I'll change the plant one as well, even if ya already read it, would ease my mind to make it more readable B) )

Annnd now? Escaping the color problem is much harder than expected LOL BP

A lot better! Still a little off but that was a color I suggested so I can deal. Thanks, and my bad.
Oh good! Finally free of my unreadability curse (hopefully LOL)! Again, you're good! If anything blame these pesky colors for playin' uncool tricks on your eyes BP Let me change my previous posts so they don't bug ya too much B)

hi, not to butt in, but i was hoping to prompt a couple more rambles, if it wouldn't be annoying! i'm a little confused about how ashen romances form. basically, neither the comic nor the post-comic materials really make explicit how sharply defined each quadrant is - obviously, as a societal construct it will be variable, but i'm curious about your thoughts as to the "normal" ordering of it. like, the examples here of...
Ashenrom is usually used to prevent pitch infidelity AND is also sometimes used within pitch relationships to prevent it from becoming unhealthy
here, it's presented both as something unique to all 3 trolls involved and also separately as something the auspistice is attached to. like... would ashen solicitation be trying to draw people into a separate romance than their own pre-existing one, into something new? or can a relationship that exists separately have an auspistice attached, and that fills the quadrant for that auspistice?
i don't know if i'm wording this very well! i think it's evident i'm more than a little confused lol
BUT separate to all of this i just wanted to say that pitch johnrezi is excellent and a great example of caliginous romance in the comic, which is pretty underutilised. i think as far as ashen feelings go, we really only see a couple of examples? most of them involving kanaya and most of them more confusing for their inclusion

I am sorry your font color makes this impossible to read.
