SPOILERS FOR HOMESTUCK AND DEAD END
Ok so. im not entirely sure how much of the original dead end plot i would want to keep, but i think it would be good to keep at least a tiny part, in a weird way, to warp how sburb works. i came up with this like a year ago too, so not sure how much i remember!
our players would be...
NORMA: heir of mind.
BARNEY: mage of life.
BADYAH: rogue of light.
LOGS: page of heart.
SECRET PLAYER PUGSLEY: lord of space
REASONING
i think norma really just feels very heir of mind. i almost made her a light or heart player because of her obsession (heart) of knowledge (light) in terms of demons or pauline, but I stuck with mind cause i think in the end, she always seems to make decisions based on what is logical and follows her core values, i.e. turning on pauline and sticking with barney and pugsley. Im gonna be 100%, im not sure if heir of mind is right for norma, but for now i think it works fine.
barney is totally mage of life, i just. hes life aspect ok. i could maybe be pursuaded into another class (i havent researched class as much) but he is totally life!!
badyah: she is mischievious like nepeta and roxy, but seems like a total nerd, and helps people with knowledge they wouldnt have otherwise!
i never really know how logs is feeling, but the one time i did, in that one dinner with barneys parents episode, he gave wanting to be jake harley, but still super nervouse about being liked as he is, so yeah, page of heart!
PUGSLEY!! ok so i thought in this supposed fic or whatever it is, barney would be super worried if his dog made it in the game or not, the whole time he is trying to keep pugsley next to him, and all this stuff, so i think it would be funny if the game registered pugsley as a player, and gave him one of the most op classpects of all time, which would sort of signify how pugsley gets possessed within the show.
i think he would show up on his planet, and the whole time barney is freaking out on his own planet, thinking his dog died, he finds pugsley, pugsley suddenly dies, but on his bed so he immediately god tiers in a game breaking way.
i think the demon/angel dichotomy would be best shown in derse and prospit court, with courtney being jack, but their game is messed up so derse and prospit courtiers are a lot more... colorful, and jack (courtney has been messed up so that the game doesnt know if shes prospitian or derseian, or something along those lines.
speaking of derse and prospit, i cant remember what i picked for these guys! i think i had badyah and norma as derse, and logs and barney as prospit, but i dont know for sure, and i cant remember what i picked for pugsley! i think if we put pauline as a pseudo condy, where she knows about the game and manages to weasel her way in, that would be FASCINATING.
its a little sad that because of how sburb works, barney and normas (and i guess others) families are dead, but i think we could have a whole drama thing with barney where he misses them a lot, and loves them and cries now that they are gone, but feels so much more free without judgement, but immediately feels bad about that cause theyre dead. OR we could pull an MC escher is my favorite mc, and just keep all the family alive cause who fuckin cares. anyways im not really sure when or how, and what i have written here is about the extent of the AU, other than some drawings i might post sometime, but i might make an mspfa for this?
