Hahaha. Couldn't think of a different title, because I suck at those. Well, time to give you what I came here for. TC's Classpect Opinions.
Now, I generally believe that passive/active classes don't particularly matter in the end, because we see people with supposedly passive classes doing a lot of active things, and vice versa. I also believe that you don't have to dream on a certain moon to be a certain class/aspect (because that's stupid). To me it limits a lot of the things that you could do, especially involving fanventures. Is it also just me, or does the whole concept of Muse/Lord a bit silly? I'm not sure it's possible to have a Muse/Lord who isn't a Time or a Space player, but I don't know. Let me know what you all think??

oohhhh yeah yeah gendered classes are pretty fucking dumb but in terms of dream moon/classpect association i dont think its a requirement so much as a tendency? like... theyre both based on personality right so maybe lets say space players have a tendency to dream on prospit just because those traits overlap a lot. its definitely interesting to see contradictions to that though! i think especially with classes like bards/princes such a contradiction would be almost fitting? anyways.

personally i think the required lunar sways for most aspects are total bull EXCEPT for space and void because of their inherit connections with prospit and derse. and no one can really seem to agree on the actual traits that designate a player as prospit/derse anyway (the extended zodiac is a load of horseshit, in my opinion), so i think that it may have more to do with game mechanics than personality, but that's just my theory. i put way more thought into this stuff than necessary.

Yeah definitely.

I don't particularly agree with lunar sways bound to aspects, yet despite this my Space and Void players are Prospit and Derse dreamers respectively.

i've never been particularly strong on that theory, it's more just rules i follow when making my own fan content. i also think gendered classes are totally ridiculous, though, and most of it is just old fandom theory resulting from heavily gendered class names and weird patterns. a lot of my fan characters have broken gendered class rules.

That's real. I have a female Prince and a male Witch. People consider those classes gender locked so I said fuck you.

Good shit—imo i think the game kinda divides it up like that but as humans do game rules can be bent and are malleable because they are, after all, just metaphysical in nature.

ooh, i actually agree and have read quite a lot of commentary on the supposed passive/active dichotomy; i think it's pretty lame and not very accurately descriptive in a lot of fandom spaces. i do think that the core concept of the dichotomy between them is interesting, and personally i interpret active/passive as more indicative of how they relate to their aspect than how they actually end up using it, but even that's a little flawed.
on the subject of muses and lords, yeah, they're wack as hell lol. i don't think they were thought through particularly at all, and their definitions are super vague nonsense.
Gendered classes are stupid, too. I fully think they're dumb as fuck. Why do Thieves have to be "an all female" class, but Rogues don't??
it's easily the worst thing about the whole system, imo; but i also think it's been pretty largely discounted on a meta level? like, i don't recall if it's been explicitly stated or not, but i have a feeling in the back of my mind that calliope's role as infodumper extraordinaire has been questioned by some of the staff. ANYWAY YEAH it's dumb and i don't play by those rules and i think classpects are universally gender agnostic
light should be radiation related and not space, this drives me insane whenever i think about it. why isnt the sun a bigger connection to radiation? why is space radiation over light? is it because of atoms? i ended up making a prince of light oc but with light being radiation in a fallout esc land and it makes way more sense imo

maybe light is more plasma-radiation (you know I think uhh plasma is the stuff sun and other stars are made up of) and space is chemical-radiation? I don't know why space is connected to radiation anyway the first thing comes to mind is uranium and that's it. I guess it's because uranium is green in color (sometimes)
