I gotta say, I haven't really read hs^2 or truly looked into it. Mainly because it seemed to have gone in a direction a good majority of the fandom realllllyyyy hated.
But! With a new team and direction, mayhaps they can change course into somethin' people aren't appalled at. I have hope yet BP

i joined a dead fandom and thought it would stay dead, so it was kind of surprising to see it twitch a little. i read it through, it was honestly kind of fun! other than the berries and cream, that was shit. i loved seeing terezi be fun, and the john sollux interaction was so sarcastic lol.

god damn i can't believe this is a thing that's happening. i'd been following james roach's twitter for a little while since he'd been Talkign and Poasting about the future of homestuck for a while since sahcon but i really didnt think it was gonna be hs^2. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH

personally, as someone who only got into the fandom in 2023 and who, in the course of a week read all of homestuck, the epilogues, and ^2... i'm really excited! i think the new pages are better than what hs^2 had had going on for a good while, and i feel like they actually have some momentum behind them, where 2 kinda... was slow and hated and reviled (honestly somewhat unfairly - not that i liked hs^2, i was losing my mind, but ppl went apeshit over it for... p lame reasons)

the upd8 is pretty good, i love terezi she's my favourite troll so ofc i was happy that half of the pages are her talking to herself LMAO

i'm just hoping they can keep up the momentum and that people don't get insane over it!!!

MAN ive got some. Theoughts on hs^2 new. i do trust a lot of the new team but the most recent update felt really lackluster to me honestly it was SO weird seeing them make references to modern day internet jokes. Like. IDK. AUGHGH i dunno im not getting my hopes up
