There are a lot of really good classpect theories that I like, such as OptimisticDuelist's analysis on Medium and youtube but there's another theory that I came across.
Ouroborista's Treatise on Classpecting which I absolutely LOVE. There are so many great things about it, from how comprehensive it is, to how their theory differs from others I've seen.
Other theories are more on how classpects are based on a narrative, or that it's a journey of self discovery. That one could not even realize what their true calling is, but once they fully realize and embrace their classpect they are their truest self. All of that is well and good, and I love it all, but this theory is different.
Ouroborista focuses on the individual experience. This theory talks about the positive and negative personality traits that makes up a person with a certain aspect or class. Also, the way that they pair together some of the more ambiguous classes is so interesting.
I can't figure out how to get the picture on here, but just look under "class symmetries" in this pdf form of the video. It's not completely unheard of, but I just really like their argument for why they picked these pairings over more popular ones.
So, what do y'all think? If there's any other theories you like more, this thread is to share and discuss them. Also, absolutely watch Ouroborista's video, it is just amazing and you might be interested in the way they think about it all. Idk, it made my brain happy.
