im working on my neocities and writing!!! i thiiink im happy with my neocities for now so ive kind of shifted over 2 writing. im developing my characters more in the plot direction and now i am scared that they are all douchebags lmao

hehe they're not at all homestuck related! ive got this big ol project im working on (i can Totally infodump if u want !!!) & i am sooo so so fond of them. theyre really pretty tame in the asshole category, its mostly just. teenagers being teenagers lmao.

so!! the project is called long gone legends & its a comic!! ive actually drawn like... 14 pages of it? its on tapas and my neocities!!! those pages though are old and are not gonna be in the final vers. cuz im doing a biiiiig rewrite of it.

it takes place in this little mountain town called burke's point, which is like... roughly located in the lake tahoe area?? theres a lot a lot of town legends about like ghosts and stuff but most of the residents brush it off, its seen very much as speculation even though its very much there.

these six teenagers (lukah, mel, florence, victor, cameron, and jaime) are the main characters-- lukahs got a biiiiig interest in ghost hunting and takes his friends along with him!!! some smallish notes on stuff.. mel moved into burkes point in their junior year of high school and is generally skeptical, cameron can see ghosts but only florence (haun's sibling) knows, victor and jaime used to be friends in middle school before things went sour with jaimes grades and he had to stop being friends with anyone (his parents suuuuuck.), ummm i thiiiink thats all the really relevant stuff? OH also florence and cameron are some of the only people in town who can reliably navigate the ever changing forest. most residents just avoid it!

anyways-- we begin during lukah, jaime, and flrences' junior year and mel, cam, and victors senior yr. im resorting a looooot of plot right now so ill just give a vague summaryy... due to a combination of factors-- cryptid hunting, assigned school research project, random shit found in the woods-- they find out more about this cryptid, the pines monster (aka That Tree Fucker, labelled by lukah) and its very like holy shit. um i dont know how much i can say w/o spoiling it (i prfer not 2 spoil thngs!!! sorry haha) but in essence they have 2 save the town frm getting completely torn apart. it is all very dramatic

um the whole comic centrs a lot arnd friendshp and stuff. important 2 me. and i want to incorporate a lot of meta stuff but i dunno if ill get the opportunity so w/e!

ive had this story in my mind 4 like... 3 years? now? so. rghgrhgrhgr.
