*what are some fan Fetch Modus ideas that you guys have?
*my personal idea (which technically isn't a specially made one and is just me abusing mechanics) is to have a wallet in every card, each wallet has a specific theme of objects (like baking, fighting, video games, etc.) and at the end of the wallet is another wallet which has ANOTHER theme of items in it along with ANOTHER wallet. Basically infinite storage space depending on the quantity of wallets.

omg ... i personally dont have any specific idea but i really like yours !!!! very interesting how that would work methinks ,, would the wallets be physically different or would they all be the same and just have like a tag or smth so u can know what wallet is it ?!?!

was tinkin bout dis earlier, a plant or like growing one where based on the item you have to wait until its ripe to pick, they can rot and what not as well, seems bad but i just thought woah how cool would that be yeah yeah ./
any/all, love will win despite anything and everything against it.
hrmm... i was thinking maybe one based on the dewey decimal system? for someone who really likes books ofc. i'm not sure how well that would work for some objects though...
also, i'm not sure if we ever saw a color coded fetch modus?? i guess you would have to have some way of retrieving items though... maybe mixing colors like paint??? idk.

omg ok ok. my friend who isnt on this forum has a spreadsheet modus xir working on! i think an ascii modus would be SUCH a terrible pain to use and ergo kind of perfect. & ive been learning javascript lately and you could probably use raw variables (like card1, card2... etc) to be a prettyy sucky JS modus
got a loooot of characters pre planned out despite me only being able to play like... 2 at a time, so the end result is me having a Lot of these
Inner Circle: To get an item back, the user has to trace that item to any memorable life experience theyve had, alternatively Poetry: Canonically this one has a few easier modes of use (kind of like how rose's tree modus had a leaf mode), but the character in question refuses to switch. To get an item, the user has to write a poem that follows a rhyme pattern to captchalogue an item, it can be A/B/A/B or A/B/B/A or as complex as it needs to be, just needs to have 2 rhyming sentences
Idle(Miner): All items that are captchalogued have a time required they have to be mined for to get back. there is a limit as to how many items can be mined at a time. and the more important or rare an item is. the longer the wait to get it back is too. Many other idle clicker mechanics are implemented, you know the usual. all upgrades are rolledback at the end of a day
RPG: Items are monsters in a dungeon, their power level is determined by how strong you were when you got them, defeat them to get the item. if the monster defeats you, it ejects your entire sylladex. you can also restart you sylladex (which also ejects the items) to go back to level 1, technically infinite storage
Book: Every item is stored within a sentence of a book thats as closely relevant to it as possible. You can bookmark pages if you want, but the book has to be physical, and cannot be captchalogued in the sylladex.
Track(Shuffle): A music track list is made with dozens of songs the user listens to, the most relevant track must be picked to get the item back
Soliloquy: You have to monologue to get it. Simple as that. just gotta say it out loud, and its gotta be as long as it needs to be (a mystery), and when youre done, the item is fetched :D
Restoration(Lit.): A snippet of a book is assigned to an item, but a fragment of the text is missing! To get it back you have to fill in the blanks correctly. It can get complicated with more and more missing pieces.
